Precious little Darcy slept on my lap and then up on my shoulder (so she could see out the window) on the trip home. She never acted like she wanted in the pet carrier.
When we got her home we showed her where her food and water was and where her litter box was. She had eaten and used the litter box before we went to bed and also played, played, played. Her very favorite toy right now - out of about 40 or so I bought for her - is the wand with feathers on the end. She jumps and tumbles and crouches to "attack" it. We both said that we wished that we had that much energy, HA! When we went to bed, she came and slept in between us the entire night. I cannot imagine life without her now. You two did a superb job of raising her and it certainly shows. I will always thank you for that. We, too, enjoyed meeting both of you. Yes, definitely, let's keep in touch. ...I've thought of you, and wanted often to tell you that Macey is doing perfectly. She's happy, playful,lively,and
very affectionate. We really have to watch that she doesn't escape, as she loves the outdoors. She used to be very cautious about stepping into the garden and do so only slowly staying close by me. Now, she's become so confident she zips past me and wants to explore beyond
our property. We live on a greenbelt with forest and a creek, and there are bears, raccoons, deer and other wildlife very close by. She knows exactly she's not allowed out so now she breaks into a gallop when I come after her to bring her in. We have a harness and leash, and Andreas takes her around the garden for walks. At least that way she can get some fresh air, while were sure she can't get away and get lost. We're sending a few photos so you can see what a beautiful girl your Macey turned out to be.
Her tail is so thick and fluffy, and her fur is dense and silky. She's so easy going, and not at all shy or timid. We love her sweet little voice, We coulnd't be happier with Macey, and Andreas keeps saying how lucky we are to have found such a perfect little creature. (He's totally in love with her) . Gaby, These pictures were taken two days after I picked him up from the airport. He really has grown since then. My vet really was impressed with your kitten. My girlfriend just thinks he is wonderful. He took to daily combing very easily, along with having his claws clipped weekly of so. He is truly one special kitten! Tony
